- Built successful cross-collaborations with Endocrine, General Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Neurology, School of Pharmacy, School of Public Health, UPMC Health Plan, and industry partners
- Successfully brought in ~1.8 million dollars in research funding (industry and foundation), and supported NIH and PCORI grants
- Received UPMC Health Plan funding for the CKD program, with additional funding for the Diabetes program
- Provided salary and data analytic support for junior faculty
- Supported postdocs from the School of Public Health and School of Nursing
- Invited for lectures at external institutions in the US and Canada
- Advocacy work and invited presentation at Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services Innovation Center (CMMI), and panel discussions at American Kidney Fund
- Invited manuscripts and editorials on population health management in high-impact journals

Hosted a Population Health Management Seminar in Dec 2024: “Population Health models for cardio-kidney-metabolic disease in primary care”, Pittsburgh, PA event in partnership with American Journal of Managed Care’s Institute of Value-based medicine
This was Chaired by Dr. Jhamb, and had a panel of speakers and panelists across Renal, Endo, Cardiology, Hepatology and general Internal Medicine Divisions; and from UPMC Health Plan leadership from Center for Value-Based Pharmacy Initiatives, Population Health and Clinical Optimization, and Payment Innovations. It had over 50 attendees, and provided an opportunity to discuss ongoing and future novel models of care
