Eric J. Dueweke, MD, MBA, FACC, is a general cardiologist and is certified in cardiovascular medicine and nuclear cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a clinical lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from University of Michigan and completed his residency at University of Michigan followed by his fellowship at UPMC.
Dr. Dueweke joined the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute in 2014. His clinical interests include a broad range of cardiovascular topics including atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure and the safe use of anticoagulants. Dr. Dueweke has published on anticoagulation safety and is a member of the American College of Cardiology.
